Celestial Toyroom Issue 508/9, a July/August summer double issue, is currently in production from the Doctor Who Appreciation Society.
Edited by Alan Stevens, this special issue of the long-running magazine for DWAS members features a full colour wraparound cover by Andy Lambert and a free colour postcard in an ongoing series from JL Fletcher.
The issue includes features on Dalek production, irrationality of the Cybermen, Doctor Who Infinity and much more.
Celestial Toyroom is available as part of membership of the long-running Society, which has been in existence for over 30 years and was the first Doctor Who fan club to enjoy BBC recognition.
These days, DWAS operates independently of the Doctor Who production office and offers a range of benefits to members.
Celestial Toyroom, or CT as it is affectionately known, is the longest running Doctor Who fanzine in the world, the first edition having been published by the Society in 1976.
Today, it is the principal journal of the DWAS and is published twelve times a year (with the occasional double issue).
The editors welcome contributions from all DWAS members, whether it be fiction, articles, reviews or letters. They also elicit contributions from well-known writers in fandom to ensure a good balance of content and opinion.
• The DWAS team do not anticipate despatch of this Special issue of Celestial Toyroom taking place until Mid-August 2020, so you still have time to join here
