US publisher BOOM! Studios have revealed a first look at fantastic-looking. CODA #2, the second issue of the new five-issue original series from GLAAD Media Award-winning writer Simon Spurrier (Damn Them All), Entertainment Weekly’s 2019 Artist of the Year Matías Bergara (Step By Bloody Step), colour assistant Patricio Delpeche, and letterer Jim Campbell, available in October 2023.
Hum and the Sprigganist come into conflict as an unexpected death leads not to a doomed movement, but new, twisted promises of paradise. Meanwhile, Serka and the Gnomads track the evil to a familiar source, and follow the breadcrumbs of a madman who stole half the population, all leading to a reunion many of our heroes might find less than satisfying…
CODA #2 features main and variant cover art by series artist Matías Bergara, with variants by Nimit Malavia (The Vigil), and James Harren (B.P.R.D.).
CODA #2 will be available in comic shops from 18th October 2023. It is available for pre-order at your local comic shop. Digital copies can be purchased from content providers, including comiXology, iBooks, Google Play, and Kindle.
