MSE Events is hosting the first Lytham Comic Con in the delightful scenic seaside area of Lytham St Annes on Sunday 6th May 2018.
Media guests announced so far are horror actress Charlie Bond and actor Nathan Head,
Charlie Bond who first burst onto the horror scene in 2012 schlockbuster Strippers Vs Werewolves, playing Carrie, the hapless dancer-turned-magician caught in the middle of werewolf gang warfare set in East London. Since then, London-raised Charlie has had no shortage of film and theatre offers come her way -from playing hard-hitting police officers in the chart topping The Fall of the Essex Boys to her role of Lucy Westenra in a sold out performance of Dracula at the Leicester Square Theatre.
Charlie’s versatility in roles from leading lady to prosthetics-clad monsters has earned her a place in the hearts of many indie film fans world wide – most notably for her performance in 2017’s Hell Riser, which has been nominated for Best Thriller at the National Film Awards.
Nathan Head is a fast becoming a familiar face on the convention circuit due to his work in the horror and sci-fi genre over the years. He’s mostly known for playing the killer clown Trinculo Moreau in the horror film Theatre of Fear as well as playing Heinrich Berger in The Toymaker, the third entry to the popular Sony Pictures Robert The Doll franchise. Nathan is also remembered for his role in the 2007 Doctor Who Christmas special, with David Tennant and Kylie Minogue, as the snooty guest aboard the Starship Titanic who the Tenth Doctor sprays with champagne!
