US independent publisher Flesk Publications has announced an all-new edition of Portfolio by Mark Schultz, the creator of Xenozoic Tales – and it sounds like it’s going to be a bit of a monster!
The original printing back in 2015 was 272 pages, but the new version is 432 pages, collecting nearly 450 illustrations.
“We sent this book to the printer last week,” says publisher John Fleske. “As soon as we have a schedule from our printer and shipper we will share the release date. This will most likely be in August. And yes, we will have a signed deluxe edition that you can order direct on our website.”

Based in Santa Cruz, California, Flesk Publications was founded as a direct result of John Fleskes desire to publish the art books he wanted to buy himself, while directly supporting artists and community.
Promoting the arts through quality collections since 2002, Flesk Publications prides itself on being different. The company produces a full line of art books featuring the best of comics and graphic novels, fantasy, illustration, pinup and fine arts, including titles such as The Art of Arthur Adams, the most comprehensive retrospective ever compiled on this celebrated comic artist, The Art of Tyler Jacobson, and Al Williamson’s Strange World Adventures.

A creative approach is pursued by exploring the aesthetics of each artist in order to design a package that serves as an extension of him or herself. The result is a unique and individual collection produced with passion.
