Marking Marvel’s publication of their new Death’s Head: Freelance Peacekeeping Agent collection, the Forbidden Planet Megastore in London have arranged a mega signing event on on Saturday 29th February from 1 – 2.00pm.
Signing at the event will be Death’s Head creators Simon Furman and Geoff Senior, currently working together on GetMyComics To the Death title; plus artists John Higgins, Bryan Hitch, Lee Sullivan and Simon Williams, whose “Death’s Head vs. Hulk” crossover comic features in the collection.
Together they helped bring us one of Marvel UK’s biggest stars – the robot-for-hire known as Death’s Head! Just don’t call him a bounty hunter, yes?
Join the android assassin in a pulse-pounding collection of his original adventures, from distant dimensions to the far future.
Death’s Head has his sights locked on an array of enemies – and will encounter familiar faces, including the Fantastic Four, the Hulk, She-Hulk and Arno Stark, the ruthless Iron Man of the future! But are you ready for Death’s Head’s mind-bending origin? For that matter, is he?!
(The collection is, it should be noted, sadly bereft of its Doctor Who crossovers, but the BBC’s Time Lord is under license to other comics publishers these days).
• The signing takes place at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore on Saturday 29th February 2020 from 1.00pm-2.00pm. If you can’t make the signing you can pre-order the book (for £33.50+postage) here
