Following up on last week’s item on Titan Comics upcoming hardcover publication of Elric: The Ruby Throne in September, here’s some more about the company’s other bande dessine release that month, VOID, by Herik Hanna and Sean Phillips.
The English edition of the gripping science-fiction thriller Void, written by Herik Hanna (Bad Ass) with art by Sean Phillips (Fatale, Criminal, Sleeper) and published in French by Delcort, centres on the sole survivor of an interstellar prison ship.
Aboard the Goliath 01, the whole crew and prisoners appears to have been murdered by Colonel Mercer. To escape him, John, the sole survivor, lurks in the bowels of the ship.
Abandoned, hunted, he clings to the slim hope to escape this evil place … but how do you escape a prison in space?
This tense and atmospheric graphic novel is Phillips’ first venture into science fiction, and as you can see from these preview pages from the French edition…
From late 2014, Titan Comics will follow Elric: The Ruby Throne and VOID with a host of new projects including best-selling medieval thriller The Third Testament; The Chronicles of Legion, which is the prequel to Fabien Nury and John Cassaday’s I Am Legion, and The Rage; a shocking horror about zombie children.
