The winners of the International Association of Media Tie-In Writers’ 2024 Scribe Award were announced at San Diego Comic Con this weekend – Doctor Who and Star Trek tie-in writers among them.
The IAMTW is dedicated to enhancing the professional and public image of tie-in writers, working with the media to review tie-in novels and publicise their authors, educating people about who the writers are, and what they do – and providing a forum for tie-in writers to share information, support one another, and discuss issues relating to the field. Its members include authors active in many other professional writer organisation and who share their unique perspectives with their fellow tie-in writers.
