Comic creator Jack Fallows, whose work we’ve praised before here on downthetubes, has announced you can now pre-order what I can only describe as amazing-looking Cryptogram 0.1 Spring 2017 (March) | The Woods.
“Cryptogram Puzzle Post is a monthly bundle of interlinking puzzles, codes, ciphers, riddles, spells and illusions inspired by witchcraft and alchemy,” he explains, “designed to create a mysterious and aesthetic experience for the gamer and art appreciator alike.”
Advanced debut copies will be available for sale at Sheffield Zine Fest at the Hallam Hubs, SHU’s student union, on Paternoster Row, S1 2QQ next Saturday 25th February 2017 (11.00am – 4.00pm).
Online orders will ship at the beginning of March.
Jack Fallows is a comic book artist and illustrator from Newcastle Upon Tyne, who has been self-publishing comics for the over 12 years and reading/making them his entire life.
He worked at the Travelling Man comic book shop for five years, where he founded the Paper Jam Comics Collective in 2007. Between 2008-2011, he delivered workshops in schools, libraries and youth centres teaching young people how to make their own comic books.
This eventually led him to pursue a career in primary teaching. His work which includes the highly-regarded Axolotl has been sold and exhibited internationally.
