This weekend is your last opportunity to grab remaining items in Star Trek ships range stock Master Replicas acquired after the collapse of publisher Eaglemoss – so don’t miss out!
As we previously reported, when Eaglemoss collapsed in 2022, Master Replicas negotiated a deal with CBS and were appointed as the exclusive distributor for The Official Star Trek Starships Collection. That relationship comes to an end on 15th June – after which date the ships will no longer be available from MasterReplicas.com. (But there will be new Star Trek items, created by Master Replicas, in future).
As you can imagine, stock is low on a lot of items and everything will be available on a first come, first serve basis, but the good news is, there’s a an “End of an Era” “the more you spend, the more you save offer” launching tonight that you just may want to take advantage of!
“Spend $100 save 20%, $150 save 30%, $200 save 40%, $500 save 50%, and $1,000 save 60%,” Master Replicas Ben Robinson tells us, who runs their Star Trek, Doctor Who, The Orville, Battlestar Galactica, The Expanse and Foundation collections.
“For the English and Irish people it will be a converted rate but roughly the same.”
The End of an Era deal goes live tonight at 8pm BST/12 pm PST (you can work all the time in between). Master Replicas will keep selling until 9.00 am on Tuesday morning (UK time), which is one o’clock in the morning on the American West Coast.
“And then that’s it. Which is an extraordinary thing for me,” Ben reflects. “I started work on these ships something like 15 years ago.”
The Master Replicas has, we’re told, gone extraordinarily well so far, since its launch 18 months ago, but the team aren’t resting on their laurels. “It’s really not an exaggeration to say that that success means there will be a lot more Star Trek products in the future,” says Ben. “That has real meaning for me, because it also means I will be gainfully employed doing something I love.”
So although it’s the end of an era, the story definitely isn’t over.
“There really is a ton of new stuff to come,” Ben teases. “Plush (I’ve got a Badgey, manically staring at me from behind my monitor), a board game, trivia decks, tea cups, Okudagrams, limited-edition prints, mini technical manuals – and stuff that I have to keep my fingers crossed about and try not to jinx!”
