Ned Hartley is a writer and editor who has been creating comics and books for over 15 years. He has been a devoted fan of Marvel Comics ever since his brother first showed him a Hulk comic many years ago.
Ned, who’s currently writing “Bananaman” for Beano and has another book out soon – The Ladybird Book of Dead Things – was once a Forbidden Planet staff member. He was also one of the first people to work in the Shaftesbury Avenue location for FP.
“In 2001 I got a job in the London Forbidden Planet store. I met Carly Diem there, so it’s a special place for me,” said Ned on Twitter.
“I remember looking at all the authors doing signings and thinking ‘One day, that will be me.’
“I’m so happy that it will be for the Marvel Museum book, which is basically a love letter to one of my favourite things in the world – Marvel Comics.”
