A huge number of British artists and comic creators join TV and film celebrities at London Film & Comic Con in just two weeks time, with more to come, including 2000AD artists and plenty of independent comics talent and publishers, too.
Taking place on Friday 8th, Saturday 9th & Sunday the 10th of July 2022, at at Olympia London, Showmasters London Film & Comic Con promises to bring you some of your favourite stars from TV, Film and Comics as well as a whole host of fun activities including photo shoots, panels, autograph sessions and hundreds of stalls full of TV and Film memorabilia to browse.
Announced artists, comic guests and publishers include, so far, (subject, as ever, to work commitments)…
TV and Film guests include Doctor Who and Star Trek stars, Stranger Things stars David Harbour and Joseph Quinn, the legendary Andy Serkis, Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.’s, Iain de Caestecker, The Monkees Micky Dolenz, making his first ever convention appearance, Christopher Lloyd, making his last planned UK appearance, and Robert Englund’s final in makeup appearance.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics. He has also edited several comic collections, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”.
He’s the writer of “Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies” for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs” with Dave Hailwood.
