Master Replicas has just announced the upcoming launch of three Space: 1999 Eagle Transporters based by the eponymous Gerry Anderson series.
Available to preorder now, due to ship in September 2026 (which will no doubt bring a wry smile to fans of the show) are the Space: 1999 5.5 Inch Classic Eagle Transporter; the Space: 1999 5.5 Inch Rescue Eagle; and Space: 1999 Deluxe 5 inch Laboratory Eagle – ALP3, all priced at 34.99 in the UK.

The Space: 1999 5.5 Inc Classic Eagle Transporter is the first in a new line of models from Space: 1999. The Eagle Transporter made its debut in the show’s first episode “Breakaway”, when the moon leaves Earth’s orbit.
One of the most iconic science fiction vehicles ever made, it was designed by Brian Johnson, who was inspired by his own work for the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey. The idea was to make it modular, so the central pods could be changed for different missions, and there were several different versions. The Transporter was the standard version.
This model of the classic Eagle Transporter is 5.5 inches (13 cm) long and has a detachable pod. It is a similar size to Master Replicas’ Starship Library series.

Its rescue pod painted with distinctive red stripes, the Space: 1999 5.5 Inch Rescue Eagle appeared in several episodes of Space: 1999, and played a particular big role in “Earthbound”, the fifth episode to be filmed.

The Laboratory Eagle appeared in the Space: 1999 story “The Metamorph”, which opened the second season and introduced Maya. When two Alphan pilots were captured by Mentor, Commander Koenig took Eagle 4 to retrieve them. He ordered it to be fitted with a laboratory pod, and with additional booster engines that were mounted on the top and were designed to increase its power and speed.
These stunning Eagle models are based on the acclaimed Sixteen 12 tooling.
