2000AD writer Kek-W has published a new chapbook (a cross between a book and a zine, for those unfamiliar with the format).
In Meet the Shrivelwoods, catch up with Vermont’s strangest, most eccentric denizens – a once-powerful dynasty that grew wealthy and decadent through their control of the state maple syrup monopoly.
Now their freakish inbred descendants have retreated to Shrivelwood House, a crumbling Gothic mansion where chaos and bedlam hold court…
A 40-page chapbbok, Kek-W says Meet the Shrivelwoods offers two darkly humorous yarns for fans of Gothic Romance, The Addams Family, Dark Shadows, Gormenghast and Vivian Stanshall’s Sir Henry at Rawlinson’s End.
• Meet the Shrivelwoods costs just £4.50 and is available here via Bandcamp
