Titan Comics have announced they’ll be publishing an all-new Minions comic this summer, starring the usually servile but often rebellious characters that sprang to fame after their debut in Despicable Me.
The new comic (and digests) will launch in June, shortly before with the launch of Universal’s Minions movie in cinemas on 26th June in the UK and 10th July in the US.
The Minions comic, which Hollywood Reporter says will be the work of animators Didier Ah-koon and Renaud Collin, joins other humour, younger age group titles from Titan such as Penguins of Madagascar and Dragons: Riders of Berk.
Four comic book issues, two digest collections, two hardcover editions and a paperback collection comprise the initial deal with Titan.
• The Minions four-issue series launches 17th June 2015 in comic shops and and digitally, as well as the first digest collection in book shops. Minions will be released in UK cinemas on 26th June
