Netflix have released a trailer for their upcoming series Locke & Key, based on the critically acclaimed comic from US publisher IDW Publishing, created by Joe Hill and Gabriel Rodríguez.
Locke & Key follows three siblings who, after the murder of their father, move to their ancestral home home in Massachusetts, only to find the house has magical keys that give them a vast array of powers and abilities.
Little do they know, a devious demon also wants the keys, and will stop at nothing to attain them…
The 10-part series debuts 7th February 2020, and stars Jackson Robert Scott, Connor Jessup and Emilia Jones as Bode, Tyler and Kinsey Locke respectively.
It’s taken a while to get to the small screen, with various different parties involved, but the end result looks impressive and the trailer well received.
Facing stiff competition from the new Disney+, Netflix is coming out all guns blazing, with new Chilling Adventures of Sabrina debuting later this month, a second season of The Umbrella Academy due later this year, and SF novel-inspired Altered Carbon set to return.
