Master Replicas have put the first of their new Stargate model ships up for pre-order this week – the Puddle Jumper, from Stargate Atlantis.
Nicknamed by Atlantis Lt. Colonel John Sheppard, its true Ancient name unknown, these small Ancient ships were designed to fly through the stargates to distant planets, but could also operate in space.
Master Replicas brand new model has been made using the show’s original visual effects files. It measures just under 6” (15 cm) long, and is due to ship in April 2025.
The Puddle Jumper joins the company’s growing line of Stargate ships and Stargates, and is available to preorder here.
Bridget McGuire, the award-winning production designer and art director on the Stargate franchise, shared memories of bringing some of your favourite sets and craft in SG-1 and Atlantis to life for Dial the Gate last year. You can watch the interview here on YouTube.
