Nottingham Does Comics launches this month – and the organisers of the new bi-monthly discussion forum have invited comic creator Jonathan Clode, co-editor of the brilliant To End All Wars anthology to talk at their first event.
“There’s some really interesting stuff on the agenda,” says Jonathan, “from Shakespeare to 300…and me banging on about Ely hospital and giant monsters.”
The event takes place at Nottingham Writers’ Studio, a unique writing-focused community, a space where writing grows. Run by writers, for writers, at all stages of their careers, NWS is committed to the craft of writing worth reading. Offering workspaces, networking, advice, creative and professional support, NWS helps writers navigate the path from aspiration, through dedication, to publication.
