Panini Comics launches a new budget-price superhero all-action title next month. Deadpool and Wolverine, new four-weekly title, features the world’s number one mutant and the world’s craziest mercenary for hire hits British newsagents on Thursday 9th March.
Each issue will bring fans of two of Marvel’s toughest characters not one but two great stories for just £2.99.
The debut issue sees Deadpool uncover a plot that could spell doom for the new mutant safe haven of Krakoa. To stop this threat, Wolverine is going to have to team up with the Merc with a Mouth – and he is really unhappy about it…
Written by Benjamin Percy and illustrated by Adam Kubert, get ready for non-stop action, shocks and thrills!
The new title fills a hole in Panini Comics superhero-related line-up, after it closed its Batman: Guardian of the Night title after a 22-issue run.
Panini has also been ramping up its Marvel Comics collection releases recently, so this is icing on the cake for superhero fans. Recent and upcoming collection releases include Captain Carter Vol.1: Woman Out of Time, written by James McElvie, a superb omnibus collection of classic Warlock stories by Jim Starlin, out next week, and a brilliant, hard-hitting The Punisher omnibus featuring stories by Garth Ennis and Steve Dillon, too.
