Signature Publishing is to launch a Chuggington-themed magazine later this month, the latest issue in its ADVENTURES WITH series aimed at pre-schoolers.
The magazine has been produced in tandem with Herschend Entertainment Studios, the licence-holder for the popular train-based animated show, tying in with Chuggington: Tales from the Rails, airing on CBeebies and iPlayer, and the toy range, produced by the Alpha Group.
A seventh series is in production, for launch next year.
The magazine will follow the adventures of three young trainees – Wilson, Koko and Brewster – as they learn about teamwork, friendship, diversity, kindness and fun.
It’s packed with stories, colouring, puzzles and games designed to help develop children’s key early learning skills, and there are competitions, too – and a five-piece train playset gift, that ties in with the magazine content.
There’s no doubting the popularity of the show: the official YouTube Chuggington channel has over a million subscribers, although Signature’s previously published a Chugginton magazine, launched back in 2015, is no longer produced.
“We’ve worked with Chuggington over a number of years and are so excited to be publishing ADVENTURES WITH Chuggington,” commented Amanda Clifford, Signature Publishing’s Editorial Director.
“The characters are fun, the story-telling engaging, the design bright and colourful, and Chuggington’s theme for 2021 – Training Together – is such an uplifting and positive message to share. We’re sure the magazine is going to be a massive hit with children and families.”
ADVENTURES WITH is a pre-school magazine series that changes theme monthly. Available to buy at supermarkets and newsagents, ADVENTURES WITH Chuggington is on sale from 19th August 2021, priced at £4.99.
