Titan Comics has debuted a special first look at some pages from June’s new Doctor Who: Origins #1, featuring The Fugitive Doctor in her comics debut, the story trailed in the Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day 2022 Edition, available exclusively in participating comic shops today.
The Doctor Who Free Comic Book Day 2022 Edition gives us an Earthbound adventure set in a kids treehouse in 1962, a gentle story with creatures looking suspiciously similar to a well-known toy of the period – and serves as a lead-in to the explosive new story arc that reveals the very early years of the Doctor. There’s a nice little cameo from a very familiar face at the end, that I’m not going to spoil here.
This free comic sees the creative team behind the Doctor Who comics Missy and Time Lord Victorious, writer Jody Houser, artist Roberta Ingranata, and colourist Warnia K. Sahadewa return to the TARDIS for an unforgettable new journey.
The story continues in Doctor Who Origins #1 which launches 8th June 2022 in all good comic shops, and is a brand new, never-before-seen adventure featuring The Fugitive Doctor.
Discover why this regeneration became known as The Fugitive as she works for the mysterious DIVISION on a dangerous assignment, and uncovers something insidious afoot.
For the first time ever, a Doctor Who comic features a Glow-in-the-dark Weeping Angel Cover.
