Story House Egmont expands Disney rights in the UK, with launch of two new DISNEY FROZEN magazines and DISNEY STARS magazine

Story House Egmont, one of Europe’s leading magazine publishers, has announced that they will publish Disney Frozen magazine, Disney Stars magazine and the brand-new Disney Frozen Ultimate Collection magazine from this month, January 2025, renewing its long-term collaboration with The Walt Disney Company.

Story House Egmont will continue to publish magazines in 27 countries across Europe and selected international markets, featuring strong and iconic brands and characters such as Disney’s Donald Duck, Mickey Mouse, Stitch, Winnie the Pooh, Frozen and Princess, Disney and Pixar’s Cars and MARVEL’s Spider-Man, and many more.

From 2025, Story House Egmont has also regained the position as magazine publisher in the UK for all Disney and Pixar franchise magazines. The collaboration spans an impressive 76 years, dating back to 1948, when media group Egmont first launched the Donald Duck magazine in Scandinavia.

(Although Story House Egmont publish Spider-man across other international markets, at this stage Marvel-related titles in the UK will continue to be published by Panini UK).

Disney Frozen With Free Gift

Disney Frozen magazine will be a three-weekly title, on sale from today, Wednesday 8th January 2025, that brings to life the enchanting world of Arendelle. Each issue features beloved characters Elsa, Anna, Olaf with a mixture of engaging stories and fun-filled activities.  It’s a perfect blend of entertainment and learning, designed to immerse young readers in the magical world of Frozen.

Disney Frozen Ultimate Collection With Free Gift

Disney Frozen Ultimate Collection magazine, which launched last week (on Wednesday 1st January) is a brand-new offering for the primary category. The magazine content and covermounts will focus on a mix of: Activity – that have everything you need to keep busy, Dress-up – where you can jump into the characters, and Art – to promote creative expression. Disney Frozen Ultimate Collection  magazine will have a monthly frequency.

Disney Stars With Free Gift

Disney Stars magazine celebrates the very best of Disney. Each issue explores a different brand, delving deep into the magic of Disney.  The first issue went on sale from last week, Wednesday 1st January.
