2000 AD artist Tom Foster has provided the cover for an upcoming issue of DC Thomson Media’s Commando war comic, joining the ranks of artists such as Ian Kennedy, Graeme Neil Reid and Neil Roberts.

Tom, whose art will grace the cover of Commando 5271, titled “Faceless Heroes”, on sale soon, has been a professional comics artist for a number of years, perhaps best known for his work for Rebellion’s 2000 AD and Judge Dredd Megazine.
He did his first work for Rebellion after winning their 2013 Portfolio Competition and has since gone on to work on number of their most iconic characters, including Judge Dredd, Sinister Dexter and Bill Savage, as well as co-creating the series “Storm Warning” for Judge Dredd Megazine.
A regular comic convention guest, he also produces comics tutorials for Imagine FX, in written and video format and, alongside his comics work, he’s done a number of school talks and workshops, and is also an experienced stand-up comedian.
