Organised by the Institut français, in past years they’ve welcomed some of the most talented artists of our time – starting with Quentin Blake who has been the patron of the festival from the very start. Over the years, the Festival has expanded from literature to cinema with an ever-growing range of screenings, and even to music as one of the weekend’s highlights – Impro! – features a world-class musician improvising along with illustrators on the stage of Ciné Lumière.
Other guests this year include Alex Barrow, Clémentine Beauvais, Benjamin Chaud, Benji Davies, Gabby Dawnay, Agnès Desarthe, Jean-François Dumont, Anne Fine, Mini Grey, Aurélie Guillerey, Yasmeen Ismail, Judith Kerr, Satoshi Kitamura, Daniel Maja, Delphine Perret, Michael Rosen and Axel Scheffle.
