Tomorrow Studios is adapting Skyward, the first book in the Cytoverse franchise by Brandon Sanderson, for television. Sanderson will write the pilot along with producers/writers Jed Whedon and Maurissa Tancharoen (Marvel’s Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.).
In Skyward (AmazonUK Affiliate Link), Spensa’s world has been under attack for hundreds of years. As Star Wars returns to the big screen with The Mandalorian & Grogu film, Revell has created two model kits featuring significant vehicles from the story. Both models are rated Skill Level 3, suitable for glue-kit beginners, and are available now at revell.com/en-uk.
The Razor Crest returns, and with a pristine paint finish versus the more weathered version shown in the Disney+ series. Revell’s 1:72 scale kit can be built as shown with undercarriage extended and its entry ramps extended to show off the detailed cargo hold. Alternatively, the model can be shown in-flight on the included display stand. A fully-detailed cockpit includes a seated Mando figure.
A classic from the original-trilogy Star Wars universe, the Incom T-65B X-Wing starfighter is back, too, this time sporting New Republic markings. The 1:57 scale kit can be built with landing gear down and S-foils folded as shown, or with S-foils extended into X configuration for battle. The canopy opens, and a detailed pilot figure is included.

Changes are coming to the Buffyverse: Dynamite Entertainment has revealed more details on its plans for Angel, the companion series to its Buffy the Vampire Slayer, launching in July. Absolute Wonder Woman writer Kelly Thompson is writing both series, with Giulia Giacomino the artist for Angel.

The two series will cross over, with Angel #1 following directly from the events of Buffy #1, and will feature the character Angel returning to Sunnyvale with disastrous results. Angel hits Local Comic Shops in August.
