Reeling from the impact of Diamond Comic Distributors’ bankruptcy proceedings, TwoMorrows Publishing, the American publisher of great books and magazines documenting comic history, needs fan support to see it through the next few months.
Although the latest editions of its many great titles are now to be distributed to comic shops by Lunar Distribution, the publisher of great magazines such as Back Issue and Comic Book Creator; and upcoming books such as the much-anticipated Marshall Rogers: Brightest Days & Darkest Knights, is seeking help from loyal readers to see it through the next few months, by encouraging them to order direct from their webshop.
“Diamond Comic Distributors has filed for bankruptcy without paying for our December and January magazines and books, leaving us with enormous losses – and we still have to cover our expenses on those items, and keep producing your favorite publications,” explained John Morrow, the head of TwoMorrows Publishing, an email to customers this week, reported by 13th Dimension. “Until payments from our new distributor begin in a few months, we’re staying afloat with webstore sales.”
He outlined five ways you can help this small publisher, by buying their books to boost their much depleted coffers.

The founder of downthetubes, which he established in 1998. John works as a comics and magazine editor, writer, and on promotional work for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He is currently editor of Star Trek Explorer, published by Titan – his third tour of duty on the title originally titled Star Trek Magazine.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine, Babylon 5 Magazine, and more.
