Vice Press will release Matt Ferguson’s 40th Anniversary Limited Edition Poster for Star Trek III: The Search for Spock in two limited editions this month.
Last year the Sheffield-based launched Matt Ferguson’s officially licensed, limited edition series of Star Trekfine art posters with Star Trek: The Motion Picture, and followed it up this year with Star Trek II: The Wrath Of Khan. Now, to celebrate the 40th anniversary, the next in the series will be Star Trek III: The Search For Spock, which will be available from this Thursday, 15th August 2024.
Matt’s artwork for Star Trek III: The Search For Spock has been widely used to celebrate the anniversary of the film, both in cinemas to promote screenings, and as part of wider celebrations for the anniversary, and now we will be offering the piece as a fine art poster to sit alongside the previous releases in the collection.
As with the previous two prints in the series, Star Trek III: The Search For Spock will be available in two editions, both sized 24×36 inches. There will be a timed regular edition, and a limited edition foil print.
Featuring brand new art designed and illustrated by Vice Press co-founder, creative director and Star Treksuper-fan, Matt Ferguson, himself a huge fan with over 30 years of knowledge and passion for the franchise. This is the second release in an ongoing series by Matt, exploring many of the films and television series.
This release will initially be available in two limited editions, a timed regular edition, which will be available from 6.00pm BST (UK)/ 1.00pm EST on the 15th of August until 6.00pm on the 21st of August, and a foil variant edition of 175.
Vice Press was set up in 2015 to create cool stuff for things the team love, from our favourite films and TV shows to comics, games and more. Everything they do is officially licensed and as well as limited edition posters and art prints, the company have gone on to release premium collectibles like pin badges, coins, steel books and jigsaws, alongside their own apparel and line of frames. Day to day the company is run from a warehouse in Sheffield, by a small team, but they work with like-minded artists, licensors, printers, and manufacturers from around the world to produce exclusive, high-quality collectibles featuring incredible, unique designs for fans like us to collect and display in their homes.
