Wales Comic Con returns in September, at a brand-new venue in the heart of North Wales, with comic creators such as Mike Collins and Neil Edwards among the guests.
The event organisers have issued a call out for creator applications: the form is here.

This year, Wales Comic Con, running Saturday 21st – Sunday 22nd September, is taking place at the world famous Llangollen Pavilion – a stunning location steeped in history, surrounded by breathtaking scenery, and home to the world-famous Llangollen International Eisteddfod. (Some of you might even remember the Doctor Who Exhibition that once called Llangollen home).
Announced media guests so far include Jennifer Beals (The L Word, Flashdance), Amber Benson (Buffy the Vampire Slayer), Elliot Cowan (Da Vinci’s Demons), Joseph Mazzello (Jurassic Park, The Pacific), Dean Norris (Breaking Bad, Under the Dome), Shane Rangi (Lord of the Rings), TJ Thyne (Bones), and Stanislav Yanevski (Harry Potter).
Announced from the worlds of Animation, Anime & Gaming so far are David Coburn (Captain Planet) and Michael Daingerfield (Gintama, InuYasha); and artists and writers Mike Collins (Doctor Who, Star Trek) and Neil Edwards (Fantastic Four, Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies).
With more space than ever before, the organisers are planning “a weekend to remember”, packing the site with their biggest lineup of displays yet, plus a UK-first unique panel experience that they can’t wait to reveal.
With an all-star lineup in the works and tickets on sale now, the team still plan to place community at the heart of the event. With this in mind, the long-running event remains Family Friendly, with tickets for Kids 11 and under going free. They are also committed to offering the best value for families, with VIP and Platinum experiences returning this year, packed with unique perks tailored to the new venue.
“We’re beyond excited to welcome you back, and we’ll be sharing guest announcements every evening this week,” say the organisers. “Here’s to the future, and to making incredible memories together once again.”
