One of the rarer free gifts in the current Phil-Comics auction on eBay is a “Funny Face Maker” given away with Wham No. 2 in 1964. Interestingly, this style of gift was given away with DC Thomson’s Hotspur No. 1001 (1956) and as late as 1982 with the first issue of IPC’s Wow comic.
