The latest episode of the US comics 11 O’Clock Comics Podcast (Episode 360) features the hugely-talented UK-based comics artist Marc Laming and ace DownTheTubes contributor Antony Esmond.
They join the regular team of Vince B, David Price and Jason Wood in a special transatlantic edition to talk about US writer/artist Tony Fleecs, the London Super Comic Con, Secret Wars: Planet Hulk, Neal Adams, Thought Bubble, Kings Watch from Dynamite, the Avengers, 2000AD, Captain Britain, Slaine: The Brutania Chronicles by Pat Mills and Simon Davis, David Lloyd, Titan Comics release of Michael Moorcock’s Elric: The Ruby Throne by Julien Blondel, Didier Poli, Robin Recht, and Jean Bastide, Chrononauts by Mark Millar, The Spectators by Victor Hussenot from Nobrow – and a whole mess more.
Don’t be put off by the long discussion of red wine that kicks the whole thing off, they’re just trying to annoy Antony who was only drinking tea!
