Regular readers will recall our past news items for Jim Alexander‘s horror comic GoodCopBadCop, but now the entire series to date has been repackaged by Rough Cut with all-new material ready to be unleashed end of January onto an unsuspecting world.
GoodCopBadCop is a modern, bloody crime take on Jekyll and Hyde where the ‘good cop’ and ‘bad cop’ happen to be the same person. It’s definitely not for younger readers! Created and written by Jim Alexander (Metal Hurlant Chronicles, Star Trek Manga) and drawn by Garry McLaughlin (Junkie Dad), Will Pickering (Burke and Hare) and Luke Cooper (Hollow Girl).
The new collection features has a great cover by Alex Ronald (Vampire Vixens) and an introduction by John Wagner (Judge Dredd, A History of Violence).
“Jim delivers a story that hits you like a punch to the solar plexus,” John enthuses, “an unrelenting chronicle of crime, violence and
depravity – and that’s just from the hero.”
The GoodCopBadCop Casebook#1 retails for £7.99/$12.99. Rough Cut will be launching the book at Plan B in Glasgow Friday 24th January and Asylum in Aberdeen Saturday 25th January. The trade will be available in all good comic shops thereafter.
