ComicScene has launched the nominations stage for the 2026 ComicScene Awards, for comics published between July 2024 and June 2025.

The Awards, curated by the British publisher of ComicScene, Tara Togs and more are nominated and voted by you, the comic fans, and this year publisher Tony Foster hopes to smash their nominations and voting target – and the 45,000 plus people who have visited the ComicScene website this year may just help with that. You can nominate your favourites here.
This year’s categories are: Best UK Comic, Best US Comic, Best Crowdfunder Campaign, Best Crowdfunder Published Comic, Best Indie Comic, Best Original Graphic Novel, Best Comic Collection UK, Best Comic Collection US, Best Anthology Comic, Best Humour Comic, Best Young Graphic Novel, Best Manga, Best Web Comic, Best Comic Cover, Best Comic Creator – Artist, Best Comic Creator – Writer, Best Comic Creator – Letterer, Best Comic Creator – Colourist, Best Comic Publisher, Best Comic Adaptation (Film / TV), Best Comic Event (Comic-Con, talk, signing etc.), Best Comic Media (website / blog / vlog / socials), Best Comic Magazine / Book / Academic work, Best Comic Shop, Best Comic Of All Time, Best Comic Character Of All Time, Best Comic Writer Of All Time?, Best Comic Artist Of All Time, and Best Comic Film / TV of all time.
You can also let ComicScene know what comic series / event you are looking forward to, and what article would you like to see in ComicScene Magazine.
“These awards are chosen by comic fans, not just the critics,” says Tony. “Please nominate one title in each category, but you do not have to if you are unsure. If you try and nominate several times your nomination will not count.

The awards will be announced first in the 100-page ComicScene Yearbook 2026. If you order the Yearbook, you will get your name in print in the book.
“It’s also a great way to support our work for just a tenner, plus postage,” says Tony.
• You can pre order the ComicScene Yearbook 2026 or get any item in the ComicScene shop when you finish nominating
If you don’t want to nominate anyone, you can still pre-order the ComicScene Yearbook 2026 here, and check out other ComicScene sale publications and merchandise, including the new ComicScene T Shirt or mug.
• Subscribe to the ComicScene Bulletin newsletter for as little as £2.50 a month, and you will also get the Yearbook in print and 3000+ pages of ComicScene publications in digital format
