Stunning Conan the Barbarian art by Batman: Reptilian artist Liam Sharp up for sale

Conan: Black Colossus, by Liam Sharp

If you’ve perhaps won the lottery, or are a serious art collector, then this stunning Conan the Barbarian art by Liam Sharp is up for sale – for $18,000.

Titled Conan: Black Colossus, this painting was first used as a book cover for the successful RPG series Conan the Mercenary, published by Modiphius. It is also the dust jacket cover for Liam’s new crowdfunded art book, Encore: Gold, and also features inside the book.

The art is available for sale via New York-based art sellers Albert Moy.

“It is certainly the best Conan art I’ve done – a rarity in itself!” Says Liam, “but it’s been made even more special due to the fact it is my chosen cover, so the (negotiable) price reflects that. I sincerely hope it finds a wonderful home.”

Liam is currently working on Batman: Reptilian, written by Garth Ennis, the first issue out this week, which looks just incredible.
