Titan Comics is having another stab at a Transformers title, with the first issue of Transformers: Age of Extinction on sale in UK newsagents now. The comic is being heavily promoted in supermarkets, and features a short comic strip written by Robin Etherington, perhaps best known for his work on The DFC and Phoenix Comic, drawn by Horatio Domingues.
We’ve opened up the plastic bag that seals in all that Transformers goodness so you can check out some of the contents of the launch issue…
The comic transports its readers into the world of Autobots, Decepticons and Dinobots, as seen in the new film, the comic strip after it as Optimus Prime works with Decepticon Drift on a clear up operation on the Moon. The title also features puzzles, games, competitions, and character reveals and the fiirst of what will be a regular free gift.
The features utilise a host of Transformers to engage readers and this first issue includes a profile of the Dinobot, Grimlock, and three competitions, including one to win a copy of the ‘Dark Spark’ Transformers game.
