A prolific cover illustrator, he returned to sequential interiors in 2022, re-teaming with his co-creator of Starman, James Robinson.

As well as the explosive finale to “Portals & Black Goo”, the latest 2000AD features a one-off “Fall of Deadworld” story, “Blow By Blow”, by the regular team of Kek-W and Dave Kendall, which acts as an interlude before the series returns proper with next arc “Justice”, plus another “War Tale” set on Nu Earth, from Gordon Rennie and Colin MacNeil.
Add to that the return of a certain popular [REDACTED] and you have a blast of zarjazosity that can’t be equalled anywhere on your planet or beyond!

Battle Action #8 is out now and Molch-R & KLO-E are joined by writer Torunn Grønbekk to talk about her ‘Nina Petrova and the Angels of Death’. Using wooden Polikarpov Po-2 biplanes, these Soviet all-female bomber crews harrassed Nazi soldiers on the Eastern Front of World War Two, who dubbed them ‘Nachthexen’ – the Night Witches. In her latest ‘Nina Petrova’ story for Battle Action, Grønbekk and artist Patrick Goddard revisit the risks and heroism of these celebrated but little-known aviatrixes.
