In a deal brokered by Sagoo, Cosmic Debris’ European representative, Emily the Strange arrives in Forbidden Planet stores and on forbiddenplanet.com this summer – featuring a range of licensed apparel, giftware and homewares based on the popular character, originally created by artist Rob Reger.
The range includes limited edition pin badges, beanies, tote bags, t-shirts, and more.
“It’s an honour and pleasure to be working so closely with the legendary comic book store Forbidden Planet to create this unique custom designed and exclusive product,” says Rob.

“What a thrill to bring more Emily merchandise to our customers,” says Anthony Garnon, FP’s Head of Pop Culture. “They’ve known and loved the character for over twenty years, thanks to Rob Reger’s fantastic comic books and novels.
“We’re drawing on Emily’s strong visual identity to ignite our unique range of product – Emily’s irreverent spirit resonates with our customers, and Rob’s distinctive artwork delivers that irreverence with an edgy, hypnotic beauty.”
“It’s a great moment for us and fans in the UK and Europe to see Emily coming back in the spotlight at Forbidden Planet,” says Veronique Pichon of Sagoo, the independent agency based in Paris, created in 2007, representing a wide range of Brands and Artists across Europe and internationally, including The Beatles, David Bowie, Gorillaz and Joy Division.
