After last week’s bumper selection of thrills, 2000AD is back to the regular number of pages this prog, but no less thrumming with zarjazness, with a smashing cover from Joe Currie, too.

This issue, Prog 2477, launches the third series of vampire vs aliens circuit-scorcher “Silver”, courtesy of the regular creative team of Mike Carroll and Joe Currie.
The previous arc ended with the Baroness being instrumental in the destruction of a French nuclear facility and almost obliterating herself in the process – but centuries-old vamps don’t die easily, and the occupying Sepsis want revenge against the resistance…
Do check out our recent interview with Michael Carroll, who’s also written the frankly stunning graphic novel, The New Adventures of the Trigan Empire, out soon from Rebellion.
Elsewhere, there’s your usual helping of “Judge Dredd”, plus ongoing series “Helium” and “Brink”, and, to round things off, a complete “Future Shock” from the Liam Johnson and Lucas McCoy.
Next to the 22nd-century lawman, “Future Shocks” are one of the longest-running features of the Galaxy’s Greatest Comic, and a master of these twist-in-the-tales was undoubtedly Alan Moore. Now, all his stories are being collected up in new deluxe hardback volumes, the first one The Complete 2000AD by Alan Moore, available from 22nd April. We’ll be bringing you Luke Williams review of that very soon!

The vamp, called Baroness DeSilva, has proved powerful in battling the extra-terrestrials, and now, having aided the rebels in destroying Sepsis infrastructure, has just been instrumental in blowing up a nuclear facility…

FUTURE SHOCKS // CLEAN SLATE
By Liam Johnson (Writer) Lucas McCoy (Artist) Rob Steen (Letterer)

Before 2000AD there was Action, a weekly adventure title initially ahead of the curve, that fell foul of the establishment when it was decided it had pushed the envelope too far, in terms of what was then considered acceptable in a boys comic in the 1970s. Even now, some stories and arcs might raise eyebrows.
Now, fifty years later, Rebellion Publishing are proud to revive Action for a new Special featuring an incredible lineup of creators, and some of its most famous – and infamous characters – back on shelves and ready to inspire a whole new generation to anarchy…

The Complete 2000AD 1: Future Shocks & Other Stories
By Alan Moore, Dave Gibbons, Alan Davis Ian Gibson and others
Out: Scheduled for 23rd April 2026
Hardcover | 256 pages
ISBN: 978-1837866762
Alan Moore is a legendary comics writer credited with transforming the medium and how it was seen through his seminal works such as V For Vendetta, From Hell and, of course, Watchmen.
But, before any of that, he cut his teeth at 2000AD, the “galaxy’s greatest comic”. It was there that Moore honed his craft in preparation for the accolades that would follow.
This first volume in a new series collecting all of Alan Moore’s work for 2000 AD, brings together all of his Future Shocks as well as a host of other one-off stories.
Moore is a master of the short-format story and this collection doubles as the perfect guide for how to write comics to a page limit.
Includes the story “A Holiday In Hell” which has never been reprinted in English since its first publication in 1980.
Moore’s stories are complemented by the works of a string of legendary artists including Dave Gibbons (Watchmen), Ian Gibson (The Ballad of Halo Jones), Eric Bradbury (Rogue Trooper), Bryan Talbot (Grandville), Steve Dillon (Preacher), Brett Ewins (Bad Company) and more.
