Rebellion, the UK’s largest independent creative games studios, has announced a galaxy-quaking partnership with Sneak Energy – the company behind zero-sugar, focus-boosting energy drinks rooted in pop culture.
Rebellion operates across video games, books, comics, TV, film and more, and, as regular downthetubes readers know, is home to 2000AD, one of the longest-running and most celebrated comics in the world today. For almost half a century, 2000AD has created hundreds of memorable comic book characters including the Genetic Infantryman Rogue Trooper, bounty-hunting mutant Strontium Dog, and the iconic Lawman of the Future, Judge Dredd. As the ultimate Justice of Mega-City One, Judge Dredd acts as judge, jury and executioner as he keeps the Law… by any means necessary.
On the 29th May, Sneak Energy are launching a natural, sugar-free energy drink inspired by Judge Dredd and his world. Packed with ‘Megaberry’ flavour, the Judge Dredd energy drink powder comes in 400g tubs, and fans can also get a zarjaz Judge Dredd drink shaker featuring bespoke artwork straight from the streets of Mega-City One. As per the Judge’s orders, Megaberry is sugar-free and approved for citizen consumption!
In the world of Mega City One, its long been the case that possession of sugar is illegal, as is the smoking of tobacco, first revealed in a story in the 2000AD 1981 SciFi Special, “Judge Dredd: The Sweet Taste Of Justice”, written by “Staccato” (aka Alan Grant), with art by Colin Wilson – so these new drinks fit right in with that.

Tim Donald, Chief Creative Officer at Sneak Energy, comments: “We’re excited to partner with Judge Dredd, alongside the awesome team at 2000AD and Rebellion. It’s not every day you get to work with such an iconic piece of comic book history. Celebrating pop culture fandom through creative-first partnerships is a big part of what we do at Sneak, and this one just works on every level. Dredd’s world is bold, unmistakable, and packed with attitude — exactly the kind of energy we love to tap into. We can’t wait for fans to see what we’ve put together.”
Sneak is also available wherever you usually buy energy drinks, from petrol stations to local shops and everything in between, with new locations added every week.
