Independent British comic publisher The77Publishing have just released V – The Baal Cycle Continued, collecting the whole adventure created by Steve Bull and Ade Hughes.

V tells the story of the Storm god, Baal, his defeat and supremacy over chaos and death with the help of his sister, Anat the goddess of War in a future where killing is entertainment for the masses.
The themes from the original 3000 plus year old story have been incorporated into a Sci-Fi, Fantasy and Horror story, that takes these fantastic gods into a world of the future with influences from late 20th century pop culture, brought to you by 77 Publishing.

V was created by Steve Bull and Ade Hughes, with additional art by Simon Bisley, Ian Stopforth and Steve Kane, with colours by Darren Stephens and Lettering by Annie Parkhouse.
Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine and Overkill for Marvel UK, Babylon 5 Magazine, Star Trek Magazine, and its successor, Star Trek Explorer, and more. He also edited the comics anthology STRIP Magazine and edited several audio comics for ROK Comics; and has edited several comic collections and graphic novels, including volumes of “Charley’s War” and “Dan Dare”, and Hancock: The Lad Himself, by Stephen Walsh and Keith Page.
He’s the writer of comics such as Pilgrim: Secrets and Lies for B7 Comics; “Crucible”, a creator-owned project with 2000AD artist Smuzz; and “Death Duty” and “Skow Dogs”, with Dave Hailwood.
