Worlds Collide at London’s Orbital Comics tonight!

To celebrate the end of Fables with issue #150 (or Volume 22, depending on how you collect it), London’s Orbital Comics  welcomes back artist Mark Buckingham tonight (Saturday 1st August) for what is sure to be a very special night of fun and revelry.

Mark will be signing copies of the book (and his other work) for fans, and may just have an extra surprise or two up his sleeve. Plus, there’ll be music from Matt Stevens to round off the night.

While you’re there, you can also check out the terrific  retrospective exhibition of Mark’s work, which is now on display in the Orbital Gallery (more info here). The exhibition runs until late August, so this is the perfect opportunity to check it out and meet the man himself.

Worlds Collide Limited Edition Prints

If you need further incentive to head along to  Orbital Comics tonight for the “When Two Worlds Collide Event” … How about some Limited Edition prints?

Just 25 of these will be sold, at £10 each. Dynamically coloured by Matt Brooker, and with wonderful type design by Todd Klein, these event souvenirs will be signed by Mark and musician Matt, and will come with a raffle ticket that is valid for the chance to win a piece of original art from Fables #150.

What’s that? You want another way to own a page of original art from the long-awaited Fables #150?  Well, you can.

Just purchase a copy of the book from Orbital Comics – or a page of art from Mark Buckingham’s exhibition in the Orbital Gallery – to get a raffle ticket. One ticket will be given per copy of Fables #150/ Volume 22 bought or per page of original art bought, so the more you get the better your chances.
Full terms and conditions of the raffle – and details of the event are here on the Orbital Comics web site
