The brilliant Action Force fan website, BloodForTheBaron.com, has had a complete site overhaul, adding a huge range of information about the much-loved Palitoy action figure range that span off into comics published by IPC and Marvel UK.
The 1980s saw an explosion of new boys toys as diverse as transforming robots to fantasy warriors from all corners of the universe. The UK saw the launch of an updated version of the pocket toy soldier – Action Force. Globally, Action Force is generally perceived as the British cousin of GI Joe, the Real American Hero, which in part is true, but its influences stretch beyond that to include Action Man, Star Wars and multi-national corporate dealings.
BloodForTheBaron.com is a dedicated source of information about the range and now, eight years’ worth of submissions and replacement images have been added to the Toys archives, the Info section has been greatly expanded, and there’s an all-new Media archive, too.
If that wasn’t enough, all of the Action Force 40th Anniversary Declassified prototypes and interviews have been added, too, and all of the BFTB exclusive books and comics can now be read for free in a new Store section.
What’s that? You still want more? Then strap yourselves in because the BFTB.UK forum is back. Thanks to the heroic efforts of forum member Scrap Iron, the crashed data has been resurrected in full! 18 years’ worth of promotion, information and general nonsense is now at your fingertips! What more could you want?!
Head over to BloodForTheBaron.com and check out all the action now
