Dreams really can come true for Marvel fans this summer; to celebrate National Sleepover Day, which falls today, Thursday 9th May, Madame Tussauds Blackpool is offering one lucky super-hero super-fan the chance to host the ultimate sleepover with the stars at the attraction.
All those interested in sleeping at Madame Tussauds Blackpool’s Marvel Super Hero area on a date of their choosing have to do is head to the attraction’s Facebook page and leave a comment on the sleepover post for the chance to win this exclusive.
Madame Tussauds Blackpool is home to Marvel characters including Captain America and Captain Marvel, Groot, Hulk, Iron Man and Spiderman. The lucky winner and up to 30 friends and family members will spend the night amongst these heroic stars, complete with Marvel goodies to enjoy, a midnight feast to snack on and the chance to watch the movies alongside their lead characters.
All guests will also receive a Marvel goody bag to take home with them the next day.
Whilst at the attraction, the sleepover guests will have the entire building to themselves and staff to act as ‘selfie butlers’, ensuring they get the perfect shot with every figure they’re a fan of. They can also take part in Marvel activities, including ‘jetting’ into the air alongside Iron Man, helping Hulk lift a New York taxi from the ground and scaling a skyscraper with Spiderman.
Matthew Titherington, general manager at Madame Tussauds Blackpool said: “I’m sure every super hero fan has wanted to be friends with their favourite comic book character and this sleepover offers fans the chance to be just that. This is the ultimate private event for any Marvel lover and we can’t wait to welcome the winner, their friends and their family to the attraction so the can enjoy a sleepover with an altogether Marvel-ous difference.”
Terms and conditions apply to this competition. The sleepover can only be redeemed outside of school holidays and two weeks’ notice of the event must be provided; only the winner and up to 30 guests can attend. Only one entry is valid per entrant and there must be at least one adult for every six children in attendance with the winner. The winner must agree to photography and post-event press activity
