A wide range of licensed apparel, giftware and homewares based on the world of Wallace & Gromit has arrived on the high street, via pop culture retailer Forbidden Planet, in partnership with Aardman.
Launched in the wake of the debut of Wallace & Gromit: Vengeance Most Fowl on BBC One in the UK, and Netflix globally, this is Forbidden Planet’s biggest product launch ever, and features multiple t-shirts, hoodies, and accessories – including sew-on patches, enamel keyrings and pin badges – plus a line of giftware, including art prints, postcard packs, mugs, tea towels, magnets and travel pass holders.
An exclusive Christmas jumper was also recently on sale.
The range includes designs featuring fan favourite characters, inventions and moments from the brand’s four short films A Grand Day Out, The Wrong Trousers, A Close Shave and A Matter of Loaf & Death.
“We are so thrilled to be bringing Wallace & Gromit to Forbidden Planet for this iconic collaboration,” said Hannah McFarlane, Licensing Manager – Merch & Promotions at Aardman. “So much care and attention has gone into this product range and we can’t wait to see our fans’ reactions when it hits the stores.”
Anthony Garnon, Head of Pop Culture at Forbidden Planet, added: “How hasn’t this happened before? Two powerhouse British brands coming together to celebrate Wallace & Gromit, and its fandom. The range is vast and includes something for everyone. I guarantee that if you love Wallace & Gromit as much as we do, you won’t be disappointed!”
