The77 and This Comic is Haunted comic artist Andrew Sawyers has launched his second art book, featuring artwork drawn over the last year – including unseen, unpublished brand new illustrations.

The 52-page Art of Andrew Sawyers Volume Two, edited and curated by Filippo Roncone, features monsters, gods, mutants, psychos, robots, heroes and heroines, warlords and warriors and much more … all introduced by The77’s ace fellow contributor and editor, Jo Heeley.
It’s already gained praise from Erica Schultz, writer of Daredevil, Wolverine, and Spawn: Rat City, who enthuses: “Andy Sawyers brings his love and talent for comics to the forefront in this new collection of sketches.”

Voted “moST Cyco in school”, after leaving academia and art school, Andrew Sawyers went on a 25 year hiatus to pursue other endeavours in life. But his thirst to create and illustrate since a child was never quenched, the fire not diminished, and he returned to drawing four years ago, his distinctive work published in The ‘77, SHIFT, Pandora, This Comic is Haunted, Dead by Dawn, and White Heat – alongside a myriad of covers and pages for Caulkhead Comics, Lawless, The Kirknewton History and The Most Important Comic on Earth.
His work has also been published on music releases for The Aggros (Parris Mayhew founding CroMag), Memoriam, H-Drive and Vertical Noise.
• Art of Andrew Sawyers Volume Two is available here | 52 Pages | A4 Heavyweight Card Cover with both colour and black and white illustrations and paintings throughout
