If you’re heading to the next London Comic Mart, then be sure to swing by the Book Palace Books stand, where plenty of rare comic art portfolios will be on sale.

The London Comic Mart is a much-loved regular event that’s been running for over 30 years in one form or another. Long hosted at the Royal National Hotel at Russell Square, it’s a great place to find rare comics or exciting new ones. A huge range of items are on sale, from over 120 traders stalls, and while the focus is firmly on comics, you’ll find plenty of other collectibles for sale, too.
Geoff West of Book Palace, publishers of illustrators magazine and more, has announced he’s bringing a hoard of portfolios with him to the event, “which once upon a time may have been a common sight, but are now hard to find treasures.”

They include work by artists such as Chris Achilléos, Neal Adams, Howard Chaykin, Paul Gulacy, Jeffrey Jones, Michael Kaluta, Jack Kirby, Moebius (including the stunning 40 Days, back in stock), Rudy Nebres and Jim Starling.
“I’ll also be bringing boxes of comics, books, and a fair few fine pieces of artwork… see you there!”
