Star Trek figure maker EXO-6 suspends direct shipments to the United States

EXO-6 have announced they are suspending delivery of their high end Star Trek toy figures, to the United States, citing recent tariff changes by the American government.

*This Star Trek: Enterprise Hoshi Sato figure has already sold out from EXO-6, but may be available from retail partners*

“Effective May 2, 2025, the U.S. will enforce a new tax rule for packages from China or Hong Kong, charging 120% of the declared value or $100 (whichever is higher), increasing to $200 on June 1,” the company said in a statement. “While SFExpress and ChinaPost believe fees will apply after delivery, implementation details remain uncertain. EXO-6 has suspended shipments to US addresses as of April 20 and will not resume until courier companies and US Customs clarify procedures, ensuring it is reasonable to proceed.”

The decision impacts all upcoming releases, including new figures from Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Discovery and Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and more.

If a US customer places an order direct with EXO-6, that order will be held until more favorable tariff conditions are in place.

Their upcoming releases outside the United States are currently planned as follows:

April 2025 – Star Trek: The Next Generation Dr. Beverly Crusher

Q2 2025 – Star Trek: The Original Series – “The Cage” Spock

Q2 2025 – Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country General Chang

Q3 2025 – Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Lt. Valeris

Q3 2025 – Star Trek VI: The Undiscovered Country Captain Sulu

Q3 2025 – Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Brad Boimler

Q3 2025 – Star Trek: Strange New Worlds Beckett Mariner

These are estimates for orders placed directly with EXO-6. You should contact your vendor for estimated delivery dates for orders placed with the company’s retail partners.

These figures are available for pre-order or immediate purchase for territories that are not the US. All shipments to the US are suspended for now.
