Northampton Museum and Art Gallery is currently hosting “Art and Comics Unwrapped: Exploring the Line Between Comics and Fine Art”, exploring the similarities between fine art and comics and how they are produced.
Running until Sunday 21st June 2026, this free exhibition explains the process of how comics are created and examine the common elements from fine art; the drawing, the painting and the poetry. It also exhibits a story of epic proportions without superheroes, just ordinary people.

The Museum will be hosting a free Spring Art & Craft Fair on Saturday 9th May 2026, from 11.00am – 4.00pm, so you may want to combine your visit with that The Fair will showcase amazing creativity from across Northamptonshire.
