Episode 150 of the brilliant Doctor Who: Panel to Panel podcast is live, and sees artist Robert Hack join host Jeremy Bement to talk about the Doctor Who and the Daleks hardcover Target book.
As Russell Cook here on downthetubes recounted back in November, Doctor Who: In an Exciting Adventure with the Daleks – Illustrated Edition is a new reinvention of the very first Doctor Who novel from 1963 that inspired the hundreds of novels that have followed, written by Doctor Who’s first Story Editor, David Whitaker.
The dramatic 1964 tale is brought vividly to life with comic artist and illustrator Robert Hack’s illustrations, that capture the story in both literary and televisual form.
Learn how Robert got the gig, how he creates his amazing art and more in a milestone edition of the long-running podcast that continues to explore the secrets behind the creation of Doctor Who comics and art.
Robert Hack designed covers for several of IDW and Titan Comics Doctor Who comic series as well as covers for Cutaway Comics spin-off series. His previous work includes Star Wars: Vader’s Castle and The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina.
