Awesome Comics Podcast Episode 39: Ask The Awesome Comics Podcast!

With lots of comic news, movies and general debate happening recently this week Vince Hunt, Dan Butcher and Tony Esmond decided to take time to answer some listener questions and spend some quality time together alone on the Awesome Comics Podcast. This leads to talk about comic movies and tv shows (no spoilers), the origin story of the awesome comics podcast and Superted vs Bananaman!

There’s also some great small press comics you need to check out and as an added extra, the trio decided to pick out a personal fave from the world of mainstream comics too.

John Freeman

John is the founder of downthetubes, launched in 1998. He is a comics and magazine editor, writer, and Press Officer for the Lakes International Comic Art Festival. He also runs Crucible Comic Press.

Working in British comics publishing since the 1980s, his credits include editor of titles such as Doctor Who Magazine and Overkill for Marvel UK, Babylon 5 Magazine, Star Trek Magazine, and its successor, Star Trek Explorer, and more.
