This week sees the return of Battle-Action to shelves, as Garth Ennis and Keith Burns return for a ten-part story published by Rebellion featuring aerial ace, Johnny Red.
Johnny’s time as a fighter pilot in the World War Two is coming to a close, as the end of the war sees him reflecting on how he came to spend the last three and a half years of his life in combat.
Johnny’s long war has taken a toll on him, and his bravery now edges towards recklessness. Will he make it through the last months of the war?
Also in the first issue, Brian K. Vaughan and Chris Burnham join Battle Action for a guest feature, bringing the hugely controversial “Kids Rule OK” back to the comics.
Set in a world where every adult dies of a mystery disease and their chaotic kids take over the world, this may be the most shocking story you read all year.
In this all-new story, a young American boy runs for his life from a mob of xenophobic British Punks – but he has a secret weapon they aren’t expecting…
Combine the two stories together, and you’ve got a blistering comic, out Wednesday 28th August.
