The winners of copies of Titan Books new British comic collection, Garth Ennis Presents Battle Classics were John Hammond and Paul Eldridge. Congratulations to them both and our thanks to Titan for the prizes.
You’ll be pleased to hear that Battle was many entrants’ favourite comic in our competition, with The Victor a close second.
For Battle Classics, New York Times bestselling writer Garth Ennis, writer of The Boys, Preacher and Battlefields, selects his favourite stories from the seminal 1970s British boys comic Battle. Included for the very first time is the complete HMS Nightshade, and the full story of The General Dies At Dawn. With insights and introductions by Ennis himself, these war comic rarities are not to be missed.
